Q: What are the requirements for becoming a Behavioral Technician? A: To work as a Behavioral Technician at Carelinks ABA, you’ll need: a.A bachelor’s degree, or b.An RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) license. Although you don’t need an RBT certification to apply, you must be willing to complete the sixty-hour RBT training course and pass the BACB exam. This certification is required to officially work with us. Additionally, we encourage all Behavioral Assistants (BAs) to take this course as part of their professional growth.

Q: Is the RBT certification required before I apply? A: Although you must have an RBT license to officially work with us, you don’t need to be certified before applying. If hired, we’ll guide you through the process of completing the forty-hour RBT course and the BACB exam to earn your certification. A: A Behavioral Technician works directly with children diagnosed with autism, implementing individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your role involves helping children develop critical skills in areas such as communication, social interaction, and daily living. At Carelinks ABA, we believe that every Behavioral Technician plays a vital role in unlocking the potential of the children we serve.

A: If you’re ready to join our team, here’s what to do: a.Complete the RBT Course oThe course is forty hours long, free, and can be completed online. oIt’s designed to prepare you for the BACB’s RBT certification exam. b.Take the RBT Exam oAfter completing the course, take and pass the BACB exam to earn your certification. c.Start Working with Carelinks ABA oWhile completing the course and exam doesn’t guarantee employment, it’s an important milestone toward working with us. oAfter working with us for sixty days, we’ll reimburse you for the exam cost as part of our commitment to your success.
